the works-fully body

Puppy Intro To Grooming

$25 for puppies 16 weeks or younger- must have proof of age.
$38 for puppies younger than 6 months- must have proof of age.

Puppy grooming helps your pet get accustomed to the grooming process so it becomes an enjoyable experience later on in life. Our goal is to teach your puppy all the sights, sounds, movements and proper behavior to get groomed before they enter their "big kid" haircut! Puppy grooming includes a bath, blow out, basic nail trim, foot trim, trimming of the eyes and a sanitary trim. Services may vary based upon puppies behavior and comfortability with grooming.

About Brittany

With fifteen years experience in the animal industry Brittany is head groomer and owner of Trims For Tails.

"I always knew I wanted to work with animals. I think I knew when I was five. My Mom could never get me out of pet stores, it was my favorite activity. I actually started volunteering at a super young age. I would get rewarded for good grades, good behavior, etc. and so my Mom would ask what I wanted; and my response was always 'I want to go to pet welfare'. The employees began to recognize me so they would allow to help with small tasks like cleaning out cages and filling water bowls. Although I did a lot more snuggling than working!
In my adolescence I had jobs at animal clinics, volunteered with rescues and received my veterinary assistance certificate. While doing the veterinary program I was working at a grooming shop. My boss at the time started teaching me little things here and there and that's where my passion for grooming sparked. I've had several great teachers, mentors and friends over the years to help me achieve where I am today."

Our Policy

By appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 704-756-4510.All pets must be up to date on their rabies vaccine. We strongly suggest your pets be up to date on their Bordetella vaccine.We are a flea free facility. If your pet arrives with fleas you will be contacted immediately for pick up.There is a fee for all appointments canceled the day before, the day of, or if you are a no-show.
